Less than 90 days to opening! It’s a nice peaceful morning inside the grill room and although it looks cold and brown out there, we are excited to get the course reopened.

It’s a huge difference maker in attaching talent but also getting the conditioning right. The days of working out of a “Barn” are over if you truly want to do it right.

Bunkers getting put back together the past couple days. We still have some sand to add to some bunkers, and some liner to replace. Off to a good start though!

First mow of the year! Looks to be a great week to get things wanting to grow a little.

One of the tenets of our department is “positivity”, and it’s often said that “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” In light of that notion, sweet gum trees have beautiful color in the fall, and are wonderful for a park or wooded setting. 🤐✌️🫡

Busy day at the UCC. Rolling all bentgrass surfaces has started, irrigation up and running, watered all tees and greens and started installing sprinkler yardages. Let’s Go!

Another day, another burn. We also help out burning off natives in a few of our parks. One of the old guys could t take the heat. It was on the list to be removed anyways. 🔥

More road and bridge footings poured today. Second mow on greens, more fairway rolling and a greens spray too. The clock is ticking!
