Police & Health Inspectors are responding to complaints about facilities failing to abide by COVID-19 protocols. They work w/ operators when possible & start w/ education but will enforce the orders when significant risk is identified or continued non-compliance is noted. (6/8)

Sadly, I have been informed of recent instances where healthcare workers, incl public health inspectors, immunizers & other frontline staff have been mistreated, verbally abused or disrespected while carrying out their duties. Harassment is never ok & will not be accepted. (7/8)

Healthcare workers work hard every day to protect the health & safety of all Albertans. Remember, COVID is the enemy, not one another. Frontline health workers, including public health inspectors, are protecting their communities & they need all of our cooperation. (8/8)
