The #Rickettsia genus contains pathogenic tick-borne bacteria, but it's difficult to study live Rickettsia within a host. New work led by Wanda Figueroa (@goleylab) presents a set of quantitative methods to characterize the growth/division of R. parkeri. molbiolcell.org/doi/10.1091/mb…
Headed to #cellbio2023? Make sure to check out the latest work from the Lamason lab on Sunday. Start off with our 4 posters (P1683, P1694, P1700, P1702) from Brandon Sit, Allen, Allison, and Cassandra, and follow it up with an evening session talk featuring grad student Yami!
Thrilled to share our preprint on inducible expression and CRISPRi tools for Rickettsia from authors Jon McGinn, Annie Wen, David Brinkley, and Desmond Edwards! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
