Under Jesse Hamilton, the Adams administration steered a lucrative city lease to one of the Mayor’s donors. Now, the admin is moving ahead & refusing to respond to our inquiries or release their internal review. If this is on the up & up - why is the Mayor hiding the ball?

It’s disheartening but not surprising that the Mayor would host his bill signing alone, excluding the prime bill sponsor and mom & pop livery drivers who were key to the negotiations of this bill.

The High St up escalator at Adams St entrance has been down since Thursday. Our office requested the MTA reverse the down escalator. We are pushing for expedited repair and removal of construction storage on platform.

No more garbage bags will be lying around McGolrick Park! We allocated $40K to containerize all garbage in McGolrick and to expand larger containerization bins in McCarren Park to fully containerize all the trash on busy weekends. This will help keep rats out of our parks!

We rallied with our friends at Daily News Union to call out the obvious: big venture capital firms should not be stripping our local press to make a measly profit.
