Two ‘Senior’ Proms means we got a lot of steps in on the dance floor! The FIAO BKLYN does so much for our community — I see it every day in the smiles on people’s faces. I’m beyond thrilled to sponsor their two senior proms this month!

Our helmet giveaway was AMAZING. It is also is a clear demonstration that our community needs resources and I’ll make sure we get them.

Making a bright future for our children means celebrating them and having fun together! Thanks to Asian Community Center for bringing our community the Children’s Carnival for the second year in a row.

This driver was recklessly weaving through Seth Low Park this weekend, while I and DOT staff were there. Nothing deters them and it’s an every day problem. Just watch the video, we’ve contacted agencies and people still spot these drivers. See all the videos and photos.

Today I rushed to Seth Low Park because I got more complaints about mopeds. We can’t be apathetic about this issue. If we don’t work to prevent these vehicles, it is a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Remember this from two months ago? Good news, residents tell me the pot holes were fixed over night! We’ll be over there to take a look ourselves.
