Today 🇩🇰 proudly stood with 40 countries to support 🇺🇦’s sovereignty & territorial integrity. We will all keep providing UA with the help it needs to defend itself against RF’s war of aggression. We all call on RF to stop the killing and enter meaningful negotiations with UA.

🇩🇰 today condemned 🇷🇺’s further escalation of its illegal war on 🇺🇦 The ever-increasing drone and missile strikes killing civilians. We all need to increase the pressure on RF with additional sanctions. We need a ceasefire now, direct UA-RF talks and a just and lasting peace.

Today 🇩🇰 State Secretary for Development Policy participated in the Biennial Economic Summit as follow up to Pact for the Future and Sevilla Commitment 🇺🇳 DK focus on reform of International Financial Architecture, new guarantee instruments and support for fair taxation 🌏🌎🌍

Today, the #UNSC convened for the first Open Debate on #AI during the high-level week of #UNGA80.   Denmark 🇩🇰 highlighted that responsible and trustworthy use of AI is essential to promote peace and security. AI must be used in compliance with international law.

Children and young people must be at the centre of global efforts on mental health and noncommunicable diseases — early investment is key to healthier lives and stronger health systems. Today, Denmark’s Sophie Løhde highlighted this priority at the #UNGA80 High-Level Meeting.

🇩🇰 voted against the draft resolution that would extend the sanctions relief on Iran without any conditions in the #UNSC today. This was not a vote against diplomacy, but we have not seen Iran take the necessary steps that would enable us to avoid snap back of sanctions.

#UNSC met today to discuss #Venezuela & tensions in the Caribbean Sea. 🇩🇰 Denmark requested diplomatic solutions in accordance with international law, including the UN Charter, relevant international human rights law & the law of the sea.
