One year on, and there is no doubt that reconnecting Levenmouth has been a success! Now is the time to ask where's next. Fraserburgh and Peterhead are the largest towns, the furthest from a railway station anywhere in the UK - an area with a larger population than Stirling!

This one locomotive is doing the work of 11 HGVs! Buchan has a bounty ready for rail, from beer to grain, fish to CO2. Reconnecting the NE will be transformational. Freeing up space on busy roads, making journeys safer, faster and more reliable, while creating space for growth!

With the Tall Ship Races in Aberdeen, Brewdog's AGM in Ellon, and Scottish Week in Peterhead, over half a million visitors will be travelling across Buchan today! A new rail link would facilitate safe, fast and green travel for our tourism sector, helping it to thrive!
