We’d expect nothing less from our leading scorer Lee, congratulations on the birth of a baby girl this week

A 2-1 defeat at the weekend after a tough game, our only goal coming from the spot. One of those days when every attack breaks down and every chance is missed.

Congrats to Nick who’s another Newman player with a new born. All those games called off last November gave the lads far too much free time.

9-0 win and they’re still having a moan

We thought for our last pre-season game we’d have half our team to arrive after kick off to give us a real challenge. Ended up losing 3-2 and with better finishing could have won it. Bring on the season 💪🏾

Had our final pre-season game with a 1-0 win on a pitch with fading light, long grass and no lines but that’s part of the fun isn’t it.

No game on opening day so we’ve let the lads spend time with their families. This is a calculated effort to get as many down the following weekend a they’ll more than likely be put to work.

Better late than never! The club had an amazing time at the @livoldboys Centenary Dinner 2 weeks ago. Raising money for the Tim Cogley Foundation (Tim Cogley Foundation). Negotiations to sign Neil Ruddock didn't go as smoothly as the night did.
