Nenagh was built on a shoestring driven by a man who had the foresight to understand the importance of indoor training. It was intended to be for training not spectators. Today it is still maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers unlike our two modern stadiums.

NEW IRISH RECORD and APELDOORN AUTO Q Kate O'Connor smashed her own Irish record in Tallinn today, with PBs or equal PBs in all 5 events. She also surpassed the Auto Q for the European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn.
