Members of a Mobile Air Operations Team from our Joint Helicopter Support Sqn have been busy on the ground in Kenya. They are providing vital support to the Puma Force crews with recces and landing site markings as part of a British Army π¬π§ Battlegroup exercise with Regt Sec, RHQ PWRR. #TogetherWeDeliver
The teams who have been in Zambia have now finished training and are on their way. A great few weeks delivering on behalf of British Peace Support Team (Africa)
A Coy are midway through their live firing. Some excellent ranges with advice from Small Arms School Corps. The soldiers and junior commanders are putting into practise the lessons from Infantry Battle School. @InfantryComdSM
C Coy have been adventurous training this week and are already getting back into their military training. They deploy tomorrow for upwards of 60 days. In the Coy Gp are soldiers from 4th Regiment RA 32 Engineer Regiment and a handful of others from 1 (UK) Division
C Coy have been training for the last few days in BATUK. With the assistance of Pumas from 230 Sqn RAF Benson the Coy have been conducting Platoon attacks. A few more days and they switch to live firing. Regt Sec, RHQ PWRR 7 (UK) Brigade
Over the next few weeks we are working with British Peace Support Team (Africa) in Uganda. The teams are teaching patrol skills and support weapons. The junior commanders and soldiers are passing on their training from Infantry Battle School Specialist Weapons School. There is still more to come @InfantryComdSM

3 teams have returned from Malawi where they have been sharing their knowledge and experience. It has been a great opportunity for soldiers for CO 32 Engineer Regiment Corps of Royal Engineers 3MedicalRegiment AGC SPS Branch Sergeant Major and 1 PWRR to work alongside the Malawian soldiers and British Peace Support Team (Africa).
In early Jan the Battle Group made up 4th Regiment RA 32 Engineer Regiment 3MedicalRegiment and a host of others deployed to Kenya. This afternoon the last elements returned into camp. We have been tested, we have learnt and we have become better soldiers for it. Thanks BATUK & 2nd Battalion, The Mercian Regiment
After a few weeks back in the UK teams from the Bn 1 PWRR from 7 (UK) Brigade are back in Africa. 2 teams are now in Malawi helping with a community project before they start their training delivery on behalf of British Peace Support Team (Africa).
