An easy way to make highly crystalline metallated 3D #COF, via a completely new "assembler" approach. Does anybody still remember the pillared clays? #PILC. But here the pillars are removed again. Nice. As the link does not seem to work, our paper was on easy multigram scale synthesis of imine COFs. A generic method for most imine COFs. Quick and easy. All you need is (biobased) butanol and acetic acid :). Give it a read! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…

Just out in J. Am. Chem. Soc. : Transforming a 2D imine COF to a 3D thiazole COF with fully conjugated covalently bound pillars in the z-direction: a full study on the photophysics and photocatalysis. Imho a very nice work :). Read it here: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
