From day one, we knew this industry had to be built on rigorous, independent science. That’s why we partnered with CSIRO—Australia’s national science agency and global leaders in ecosystem-based management—to help assess and manage the potential impacts of collecting seafloor

Frivolous lawsuit tossed. Court agreed: no legitimate case to be argued. We’re focused on unlocking critical minerals for energy, defense, and infrastructure; not meritless courtroom drama. news.bloomberglaw.com/securities-law…

for the few people still clinging to some old ideas: this doesn't happen by accident and is not market driven. yet it creates a formidable advantage in downstream industry, and strategic leverage at national level because it is ultimately controlled by a single entity

donsully Sawyer Merritt gerard barron The Metals Company What a coincidence! I am watching the Shawn Ryan Show on this very subject: youtube.com/watch?v=ssCp-R… Globally, 70% of the known supply of nickel (and the manganese and cobalt that make up the NMC cathode in Li-Ion batteries) sit at the bottom of the sea in the form of unattached

"Lithium-iron-phosphate batteries are thriving. Sodium-ion is coming. We won't need nickel/cobalt. Maybe not even lithium." I don't think such extrapolation is right. Many advances in LFP (eg anode) also boost NMC energy density, helping push NMC into trucking/ferries/planes.
