When Fuego erupts at night. Cities on Volcanoes 12 #COV12

I’m so glad the skies were clear on my final evening here. Sitting on my terrace watching the sunset before heading to a fab little Italian restaurant (where I was joined by Abby the cat!) was the perfect way to round off an incredible 2 weeks 🥰

Trying to collect all of our current and alumni Bristol team was a task, so it took two rounds! A fantastic week for the Bristol 🌋 Group at IAVCEI Cities on Volcanoes 12 #COV12 We look forward to seeing you all in the future!

On day 2, we heard from Tz'utujil elders about Lake Atiltánand how life has changed (but also not). We also visited a group of women to learn from their everyday life and livelihoods in a post-disaster resettlement. We enjoyed their art and their food too! #CoV12 Cities on Volcanoes 12
