The final preparations are taking place ahead of the opening night of our TY Musical "Legally Blonde" being performed in Halla Acla, in Achill Sound this evening. Tickets for each night, costing €10, are available from the school office and Achill Sound Post Office.

Colaiste Pobail Acla took part in the Heinrich Boll annual essay competition We had 5 prize winners with Penelope Stafferton being the overall winner with her essay:An Irish Book for an International Prize. They received their awards from the German Ambassador, Cord Meier-Klodt Achill Heinrich Böll
