2E tried out our new Active Learning Room on Friday. They worked in pairs to find interesting facts about Shakespeare's World and together created an extensive "Wall of Facts". <br>There was no time to sit! Students used the standing desks and it was great to have everyone moving

Congratulations to former student of CPC Ella Hannon who received an Entrance Exhibition Award by the University of Dublin Trinity College.Ella has the best Leaving Cert results of the 2024 entrants to Trinity College from CPC Kilcullen.

Huge congratulations to our CPC U19 Badminton Team who represented Kildare at in the Leinster Finals recently. The team of Bethany Swaine, Lucy Curtis, Ali Griffin and Eloise Reddy played against the Meath and Kilkenny representatives in their group and finished 2nd in the group.

Well done to Roisin Munnelly, Julia Loboz, Kayden Casey and Aoife Moran who are continuing with their work as volunteers at the Cara Rescue Centre for Girls in Kenya. We are looking forward to hearing about their experiences when they come home from this life changing time

A  massive congratulations to CPC students Ella-Louise Donnelly of 1st year and Aoibheann O'Brien of 5th year who put in fantastic performances in their respective races in the South Leinster Cross Country in the Carlow Hurling Club last Thursday.

U14 South Leinster Champions 24/25. Congratulations to our U14 Boys GAA Team on their Championship winning victory today in the South Leinster Final against Creagh College of Gorey. Final Score CPC 1-15 4-5 Creagh College.

Congratulations to 1st Year Students who received awards yesterday. Students received awards for academic achievement, kindness and school involvement. We had 14 students who have perfect attendance and 2 classes received certs for involvement in the National Maths competition.

Having arrived safely late last night and after a short sleep, day one of ski school is underway.

A great day is drawing to a close here in Lavarone with some Karaoke! Super skills on show on the slopes all day with everyone making real progress at their own level. Still going strong after a couple of hours sleep last night with no signs of tiring!

After heavy snowfall overnight, it was another early start to the day to make the most of our time. We had no idea that Kilcullen was such a hotbed for skiing talent!! Well done to everybody for a great effort today on the slopes. Dinner and bowling to look forward to tonight.

1A had great fun creating and performing their own drama scripts at the end of the 1st Year English drama module. It was great to see all the students on stage in the assembly hall performing their original works of drama! Well done to all the class!

Our final day on the slopes has come to an end. It was amazing to see everyone finish so strongly and everyone can be proud of the progress they made in just a few days. Everyone received a medal from our guide and then we celebrated some fun CPC awards after dinner before Tubing

Congratulations to former student Eddie O'Loughlin who received a UCD Entrance Scholar Award yesterday in the O' Reilly Hall at UCD.

1F worked in groups today to create and  present their own weather forecasts (réamháisnéis na haimsire) to the class as gaeilge! A great effort made by all!

Very best of luck to the 1st Year Girls Basketball team who are competing in a regional final today against St Leo’s of Carlow.  The girls have done brilliantly to get so far already and we are all behind you! Best of luck to Ms Lloyd, Ms Murphy and to all the squad.

There was a host of activities in CPC to mark World Book Day on March 6th this year!

Congratulations to Lena Dunne, Lucy Cousins, Eila O'Byrne and Ella-Louise Donnelly who competed in the South Leinster Minor Girls Relay in St Laurence O' Toole Park yesterday. The girls came 3rd which is a fantastic achievement. Best of luck to all competing the South Leinster

Our 2nd year students had an absolute blast on their school tour to Emerald Park today! The sunshine matched the bright smiles on their faces as they enjoyed thrilling rides, laughter, and memories with friends. Check out some of the highlights in the photos attached!

Our 3rd year students had a very busy day today on their school tour! They started off with bowling, then onto a spot of shopping and finally onto the Hell and Back obstacle course! The sunshine matched the excellent behaviour and great atmosphere amongst the students!

A great day was had by our First Year group today at the science museum Explorium. Our group were busy with lots of science activities including a light show and operating a robotic dog!!
