FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 13, 2024 Cheektowaga Delays Parking Ban Cheektowaga, NY – Supervisor Brian Nowak announced that the overnight parking ban has been delayed in the Town of Cheektowaga until November 30, 2024.

Now that the snow has started to fly we just wanted to update our community that the overnight parking ban for Cheektowaga will begin on Saturday, November 30th at midnight (Friday evening into Saturday morning). Please do not park in the street during overnight hours.

Just a reminder that the overnight parking ban for the Town of Cheektowaga begins tonight at midnight. We again are asking for the public's cooperation in keeping your vehicles off of the streets between 1am and 6am so that our snow crews can make sure our streets are plowed.

As snowfall begins, please be reminded that the Town Of Cheektowaga's winter parking ban is now in effect. Let's all do our part to keep the roads clear for our dedicated, hardworking snowplow drivers!

Beach road is closed from Maryvale Dr to Genesee St for a house fire we ask that you avoid the area at this time.

Beach Rd is reopened at this time. Crews are still working in the area please use caution in the area.

George Urban Blvd is closed between Harlem Rd and Rosewood Terr for a house fire. Pine Hill Fire Department is on scene with the assistance of mutual aid from other Cheektowaga based volunteer fire companies. We ask traffic avoid the area.

The Town of Cheektowaga has lifted the overnight parking ban effective immediately.

There is expected to be a routine controlled blast at the quarry on Como Park today at 1100 hours. We just wanted to make those that live in the area aware of this in case you hear something.

The Kensington Exp. Eastbound is closed eastbound at Eggert to Pine Ridge for an active investigation, please avoid to area until further notice.

Harlem rd is closed from Cayuga Creek to Mineral Springs Rd and Clinton st is closed from Rossler to Old French for an accident investigation please avoid the area.

We have been informed that NYSEG will be using a helicopter to inspect power lines in a large area between Cheektowaga and Lockport, between June 2 and June 17.

Due to a water main break, French Road is down to a single lane near Collette Avenue. The repair will continue late into this evening.
