Great time spent in Addis Ababa last week (10 and 11 April) with committed and inspiring women leaders to co-design and co-create the African Facility for Women in Political Leadership. An initiative of UNDP Africa Ahunna Eziakonwa in collaboration with African Union Women, Gender & Youth Directorate AU WPS Bineta Diop and



The team visited the Resource Mobilization Center in Hella Kunda, #URR, engaging women political leaders & young women at the skills center to discuss project benefits. Implemented by UNFPA The Gambia, UNICEF The Gambia & UNDP The Gambia, the project will enhance women’s leadership.


#DidYouKnow over 700 young Gambians mostly women have benefited from fully funded trainings at the GSI’s 256 hectare facility in Chamen, with support from UNDP The Gambia. From poultry to agriculture, this center is a hub of skills & opportunity for young people in The #Gambia.
