We’re so back. #CSJConference24

The first panels for #CSJConference24 have started. In my room, Matthew Dennis, P David Marshall and Bethany Usher speak in our Conflicts in Celebrity Media and Communication panel.

It is overcast today in #Amsterdam but the spirits of our #CSJConference24 delegates are not dampened in the slightest! After an amazing first day and a wonderful canal cruise, we are excited to see what day 2 of the conference will bring!

Day 2 of #CSJConference24 starts with our second keynote, Erin A Meyers speaking on the topic: Celebrity Crisis and Reality Television.

To bring day 2 of #CSJConference24 to a close, we hear from our third keynote, Milly Williamson speaking about Online Celebrity and Influencer Culture: The Triumph of Neoliberalism?

Day 3 of #CSJConference24 gets underway with our fourth keynote, Anthea Taylor, speaking on the topic: Consuming Germaine Greer: Celebrity Feminism, Audiences, and The Archive.

Our final #CSJConference24 keynote, Nandana Bose, speaks to us about Celebrity Populism in 'New India'.
