We (CSU Crops Testing) took our awesome Akron ARS and CSU summer interns to campus yesterday to tour some research labs and enjoy a day (mostly) out of the sun. Thank you Esten Mason for the lab tour!

Whether you are a grower or a wheat researcher, WheatTrials built a great resource to look at variety performance across space and time. I used it last night while working on selections. More info the better. Use it here: wheattrials.com/database.php

Join us next Thursday, August 15th at 8 a.m. for a webinar on Wheat Variety Decisions! Esten Mason and WheatTrials are going to talk about new releases and variety comparison tools, and Sally Jones-Diamond will present the latest trial results! Flyer with Zoom link: bit.ly/46J2gmb

One of the most exciting days of my career thus-far! I am humbled by the generous support our state commodity checkoffs (wheat, corn, sorghum, and sunflower) which helped us make this huge upgrade for the CSU Crops Testing program. This was just a pipe dream a year ago...

Proso millet results from Akron are posted! Well-timed rain allowed for some stellar yields again this season. Our friends at UNL Crops Testing, Amanda Easterly and Cody Creech, had an identical trial in Sidney, NE and their results will be added soon! csucrops.org/proso-millet
