Attended a wonderful talk today with Maya Abu Al-hayyat and Hazem Jamjoum, hosted by the poet Dot Devota. They discussed Maya's No One Knows Their Blood Type, translated from Arabic into English by Hazem Cleveland State University Poetry Center. It ended with a reading of Sara Elkamel's poem, Because of My Mother.
