The EU must use the summit to act for justice, and to publicly 👉Condemn the Chinese government’s crimes against humanity, and the impunity that sustains them. 👉Call for immediate, unconditional releases of human rights defenders who have been detained for their work.

👉Emphasize commitments made at the G7 to ending transnational repression 👉Reiterate that the EU is ready to use all tools at its disposal to hold Chinese officials accountable for human rights violations 👉 Insist the Chinese government comply with its human rights obligations
