Today is a huge day in the fight against terror. Following years of campaigning, led by Figen Murray OBE #MartynsLaw is being introduced to parliament today. The law will make us all safer by ensuring public venues have basic security in place to deter & deal with attacks.

I'm proud that today we introduce the Terrorism, Protection of Premises Bill, known as Martyn's Law. Figen Murray OBE has campaigned tirelessly for this and it will help make venues safer. The PM made a promise to her. We’ve honoured that today. Second Reading will take place
