Tim Tim Rocktäschel did a great job in his #ICLR2025 keynote on open-endedness of explaining the ideas we are all so passionate about. A huge thanks for the kind words and for featuring our work, including Jenny Zhang 's OMNI. cc Kenneth Stanley Joel Lehman

ADAS: great work from Shengran Hu Cong Lu and Jeff Clune! A very useful way to find the best reasoning structure to solve different domains. I am looking forward to seeing how this could be applied to other great challenges like solving NetHack.

Can’t find a sitting spot at Chelsea Finn ‘s keynote today. Very interesting to how crucial it is to discriminate different strategies in demos when fine tuning models. Improved specialisation for sure helps, but I think reduced strategy diversity may limit resilience. Let’s see

Happening now! Come to chat with Luca Grillotti to learn how we do unsupervised skill discovery on a real robot in less than a dozen hours. #ICLR2025

Great talk from Tim Rocktäschel and Jack Parker-Holder this morning at #ICLR2025, again super packed!! Did not have time for my question so here it goes: it seems that the multi-agent aspect is conditioned on the user inputs, but to go further we need to give the world its own mind. How?

The variety of top speakers and diverse topics in our seminars is always a blast, but having a double-Oscar winning scientist feels extra special! We need to do in-person only to show more juicy stuff from the movies 😱 I know some of our regular audience will need to travel

Very cool work! Fun to see an algorithm inspired by MAP-Elites help advance numerous open problems in math, computer science, AND improve Google's production infrastructure (data centers, TPU design, and AI training)! (Paraphrasing their paper and tweet below). Great work

Google's AlphaEvolve system discovers and optimises algorithms by orchestrating Large Language Models (LLMs) within an evolutionary computation framework inspired MAP Elites from Jean-Baptiste Mouret and Jeff Clune. LLMs propose code modifications which are then automatically evaluated,

Very proud to receive this award in honor of Julian! I was unable to go to Evostar this year to get the award physically (already an important commitment on that exact day) but I will next year!
