No trip to Dunkirk would be complete with a visit to the Commonwealth War Graves’s Dunkirk Town Cemetery. Gunner Joseph Pass was part of my Great-Grandad’s battery, and almost made it back home. I always make sure to go and say hello. Lest We Forget what happened here 85 years ago. #Dunkirk85

🕊️ Commemorating the 84th Anniversary of the Battle of Crete 🕊️🇬🇧 🇳🇿 🇦🇺 On 24 May, we gathered with over 400 guests at Suda Bay War Cemetery to remember those who fought and fell during the Battle of Crete. One of the most dramatic and costly campaigns of the Second World War.

My heart felt thanks to everyone who attended the rededication service of three Commonwealth War Graves sailors headstones at Barry Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery this morning. A wonderful turn out to remember three Barry men who made the ultimate sacrifice.
