Good showing from 18U this weekend at Upper Midwest Baseball tournament in Des Moines, IA going 2-2. Caleb Christianson led the team showing off his glove in the infield, BA of .500, .727 OBP and 6 RBI’s. Also a strong showing from Matthew with a .444 Average, .615 OBP and 2 2B.

18U won game 2 today 9-0 against Sioux City Futures. Gage Miller threw a complete game giving up 1 hit. We had a lot of good performances at the plate. 18U will play tomorrow at 9:00 and 11:15 vs NE Prospects Yard Boys and NE Prospect.

Beyond saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Jason Thielges. He knew the challenge of starting a football program from the ground up at Fargo Davies. That's what made the 2014 state championship even sweeter. A great friend + coach. Thoughts to his family and friends.
