🤝Collaboration in action!! Nestor D. Montiel-Bohorquez, a PhD student at Politecnico di Milano di Milano, spent 3 months at LUT University 🚀 to learn dynamic simulations of Calcium Looping (CaL). He’s now applying these skills to advance research on CaL for EAF steelmaking. #CaLby2030 #Innovation

🚀Gruppo Iren and other partners launched concept design & HSE for FOAK industrial demo projects: up-to-date results from pilot tests and simulations will be used to model the CaL system which integration in the Waste-to-Energy plant in Piacenza will be assessed soon. Stay tuned!
