Primary 3 enjoyed a day out to Glasgow Science Centre yesterday. We learnt so much through play!

On behalf of the heroic staff who bravely journeyed to Valencia with our pupils, we just want to say we’re bursting with pride! They’ve made memories to last a lifetime! Everyone made it back in one piece & we suspect the next few days will involve some Olympic-level napping.🇪🇸♥️

Our winning house had a blast celebrating their victory with a day at the Science Centre! Hands on experiments, fun exhibits, and even a 3D screening of Animal Kingdom at the IMAX! A well-deserved reward for their hard work and team spirit! 💙

Sports Day fun! 🏅🌦️ A damp start didn’t stop the smiles. Pupils shone across activity stations, with brilliant energy in the teacher and family races too! Thanks to everyone who cheered, took part & also helped out! What a great day! 👟👏

Our P7s had an amazing visit to the City Chambers! 🏛️ They met the Lord Provost of Glasgow, shared stories from their Valencia trip 🇪🇸, and learned fascinating facts about Glasgow’s history. What a day! 🙌

P1 were beekeepers today! We learned that bees communicate through smoke, and so beekeepers use a smoker to confuse and calm bees so they can inspect their hives without getting stung by upset bees! Cool!! 🐝

To finish off athletics this month we had some brilliant relay races across the school. Great teamwork, communication and passing on display! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Primary 3 had a great time visiting Blair Drummond SP last week. Now we are busy writing about Sea Lions!

P4 to P6 took part in ‘Get Set for Positive Energy’ today to think about how we can drive positive change for a greener future. Some brilliant ideas for new green energy-saving habits. Big thanks to British Gas and Team GB!
