Researched different types/designs of Stirling engines and decided on a walking beam model. Researched the compression chamber more thoroughly and how to get it as sealed as possible.

Decided on materials to use and developed a basic sketch. Working on exact dimensions and will begin construction when I finish a more detailed sketch.

Finished detailed design sketch, did more research on compression ratios, began SolidWorks parts, and gathered some materials for part testing.

Finished a bunch of the separate parts and will begin finished SolidWorks assembly soon to find any mechanical problems that need to be fixed.

Also have a corrected sketch that fixed some problems I discovered earlier.

Finally completed my assembly after a bunch of dimension and bearing problems.

I got distracted by my trip, so this is an update for last week. I began to write out what I wanted to discuss in my project video for the end of the semester.

Began working on my Adobe Spark video for the end of semester one.

Continued to work on my project update video.

Last week I got sick and wasn't able to come to school. However, the week before that I begin constructing my parts and got my beam support, and both beams cut out.

Finished cutting out the supports for my flywheel and converted some files to 3D printer ready files.

Last class, I finished cutting out the final supports I could create with just the regular saws.
