Iowa State Q1: 10-6 Q2: 6-1 Q3/Q4: 11-0 UNC Q1: 9-3 Q2: 7-4 Q3/Q4: 11-0 Identical records. But Iowa State has more Q1 wins than UNC and fewer losses outside of Q1 than UNC. ISU > UNC

Non-league strength of schedule is the dumbest number the committee looks at. Why should Iowa State's non-league SOS matter when Iowa State ended up playing four more Q1 games than North Carolina and just as many games in the first two quadrants as North Carolina?

These are Quad breakdowns for the No. 2 seeds: Arizona, Iowa State, Tennessee, Marquette. There is no way the Cyclones should be last in this group. I'm fine with UNC being a No. 1 but the committee shouldn't send statements about scheduling. It should reward performance IMO.
