I am once again reminding Wes Streeting that pay restoration still represents incredible value for money. If he can justify why a. assistant is paid £10k more than a qualified doctor (starting pay £36k) I’ll happily not strike. But that won’t ever happen, because it’s wild.

Let’s compare… Wes: I can offer 🔹More hours 🔹Less than half the pay 🔹An NHS meal deal 🔹Being treated like shit 🔹Your assistants paid c30% more All whilst I vilify you in the media. NZ: We can offer 🔸Reasonable hours 🔸More than double the pay 🔸Well staffed rotas 🤔

Your Labour MP is not allowed to represent your interests in Starmer's government. "Keir Starmer has warned backbench Labour MPs against future rebellions as he seeks to restamp his authority on the party after a series of setbacks." independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

If you read what it says on the website, you'll see that 'Your Party' is the title of the website, where you can sign up to be part of the process of developing the new party. The new party does not yet have a name. There will be a lot of this tone of reporting. Bring it on.

Streeting using NHS England to distribute his political messages to resident doctors across the UK. Eerily Orwellian, akin to the Ministry of Truth, manipulating the narrative and spreading propaganda.

Nigel Farage has built a career based on lies. He defends the rich and tries to tell working class people the source of their problems is other poor/oppressed people. In that respect, he is just like Starmer. Defending the rich. We need to SWEEP AWAY THE LOT OF THEM!

Empty words cannot hide the truth: your government is complicit in genocide. We are an unstoppable movement for peace, for justice and for Palestine — and we are never, ever going away.

PA Stephen Nash You’re neither registered nor practising as an assistant. Other PAs disown you. UMAPS is a vanity project. Accordingly, what is the exact point of you in this debate?

Doctors DON’T have a final salary pension Doctors DON’T get their exams paid for Doctors DON’T get overtime Doctors DON’T get their equipment paid for Doctors DO pay for their own training Doctors DO pay for their own stationary Doctors DO earn less now than 2008 in real terms

I am currently in hospital awaiting surgery following some investigation. I have been here since Tuesday. I just want to declare that I fully support the resident doctors in their quest for fair pay restoration.

'Even if our pay was restored we would still be paid less than the Physician Assistants with their two year degree’ BMA Resident Doctors Committee Co-chair, Dr Ross Nieuwoudt says his members feel 'a little bit tricked' by Wes Streeting as they begin a five-day strike in England

Zarah Sultana MP (@zarahsultana) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It’s not the BMA “undermining the trade union movement”. It’s a Labour Prime Minister, writing in the Murdoch press, urging junior doctors to break with their union leadership. That’s a direct attack on trade unionism. Solidarity with The BMA and junior doctors on strike.

Hey Wes Streeting the bloke who mows my neighbour's lawn and weeds the borders is on £20 p/h. Why are some resident doctors paid less than that? 🤔

Paul Stevens 🥀 (@paul_d_stevens) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Peter Stefanovic This makes no sense. Is there any other occupation where people with experience, training and qualifications don’t earn as much as colleagues with less experience and training, and lower qualifications?
