The Kings got rolled 7-0 tonight at Marquette. Battling a bad bout of influenza, the boys only had enough gas to compete for a period before being overwhelmed by a deep Marquette team. Kings have 5 days to recover before heading to Houghton Gremlins on Tuesday night.

🏒🔥 Victory on the Ice! 🔥🏒 The Calumet Cooper Kings pulled off a 5-4 win against rival Escanaba on December 6th, 2024! With this win, and beating Jeffers the following night, the Kings are now 4-2 on the season! Powered by Mich HS Hockey Calumet Copper King Hockey

Sorry to say, that we’ve completely forgot about our X community this year and haven’t given any game updates. Calumet Athletics have played 6 games and have collected a 4-2 record so far. This past weekend, the Kings took down the Escanaba Eskymos Athletics 5-4 and the Jeffers Jets 3-2.

The Kings will have some time to fine tune things over the next week, and welcome Gabriel Richard Catholic High School to the Colosseum on Saturday. Need to check the history books, but I believe this is the first time these two teams have met since the ‘92 state champ game Mich HS Hockey Sean Baligian
