Last night the Wildlife Disaster Network mobilized to help evacuate 5 raptors from the fires burning around Lake Tahoe. Thanks to the efforts Network members at LTWC, @GCWRescue, California Raptor Center (CRC), & UC Davis Veterinary Medicine these raptors are safe & receiving veterinary medical care.

Our center has incubated a clutch of 6 Barn Owl eggs this past month. Check out this one hatching!

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our beloved Fuzzy the #GoldenEagle passed away on Tuesday. Based on her history and circumstances, we suspect she died from age-related natural causes. Fuzzy was at least 31 years old at the time of her death. ohi.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/news/passing-f…
