Our team at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory have been working on a new instrument to detect dark matter The AION project will shine lasers on atoms in free-fall to search for ultra-light dark matter and gravitational waves! 👉Read more here: ukri.org/news/stfc-scie… 👈

One of the challenges of the #lockdown is keeping a sense of community when you don't see colleagues at the Cavendish Laboratory. Last Thursday we had a virtual pub quiz, and it was great to see so many of the groups in one (zoom) room.
