The latest on the unwinding of the pandemic continuous coverage requirement in Medicaid: Over 1.6 million people dropped so far based on our tracking in 28 states. 71% of disenrollments are for "procedural" reasons, and may include people still eligible. kff.org/medicaid/issue…

Millions of people being dropped from Medicaid is partly a political choice, with some states moving more aggressively than others to unwind the continuous coverage requirement. It's also question of administrative competence, with some states having better eligibility systems.
