Recently, we spoke to residents across Rochford Way, Mitcham Road and nearby streets in Broad Green and gathered over 100 signatures demanding urgent council action. Fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles and neglected alleyways are causing serious concerns. It’s time Croydon Council

Last night, as Disabilities Officer for Croydon West, I had the pleasure of hosting the inaugural Croydon Labour Disability Carers event at Ruskin House. Lots of concerns and suggestions were raised by members to help make our CLP more inclusive. Thanks to all who attended!

Great to be out in West Thornton yesterday evening talking to residents about their concerns, chief among them problems with the quality of housing. These issues will be followed up by the brilliant local councillors Chrishni Reshekaron Janet Campbell (Cllr) and Stuart King!

Every member of the highly experienced panel who came to this devastating judgement on Mayor Perry’s failure were appointed by the last Conservative Govt. The truth is he said he’d fix the finances and he hasn’t. They’ve got worse. And the Govt had little choice but intervene.

We were at the doorstep of Croydon residents they are very disappointed about how they have been let down by Mayor Perry, whose council finances have worsened. He was supposed to fix the finances, but he failed. The government had to intervene to appoint commissioners.

What a shame Mayor Perry's actions led to the closure of Broad Green library, which has now become a dumping ground. Community now realises the mayor failed to address Croydon's finances instead of fixing them, leading to the government's intervention with commissions.

Under Mayor Jason Perry’s watch, fly-tipping in Croydon is out of control. A vulnerable resident just home from intensive care can’t even open her window due to rotting waste left yards away for two weeks. No action. No urgency. No care. This hotspot needs signage & CCTV now.
