Hi Darrell Owens (idothethinking on bluesky). I'm a NY Democrat, and a woman I went to business school with was pushed in front of a moving subway and murdered. Do you think that's okay and the subway is safe?

Most annoying thing about discussion of crime in US, is intentional failure to recognize how local it is, changing often from block to block within a city. US is indeed a violent, dangerous country, by global standards, especially given how wealthy we are, and Minneapolis is

Reason for the huge ETH shorts is basis trade. Funds can capture an annualized basis of 9.5% by shorting the CME futures and buying ETH spot with a staking yield of 3.5% (this why its mostly ETH not BTC) for a delta neutral 13%. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I don't think Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸 is wrong. As someone who teaches at a top-tier b-school, I have some thoughts on this myself. But the university system is going to have to change dramatically or find the widespread prestige & funding it enjoys will vanish and become hatred instead.

Anyone who is surprised by BTC $123k needs to also be paying attention to the fact that the dollar is trading the weakest it has since the 1970s. One of the benefits of BTC is that it will act as an outlet (among many) from fiat currencies. Behave accordingly.

They say politics makes strange bedfellows but who thought billionaire bankers & BPI, the Koch family, and senior Dems would all align on being against financial regulation because financial regulation apparently now causes corruption? Massive own goal by Dem leadership.

If Democrats become the party of locking people under the age of 50 into the oligopoly of large banks and fighting to return to using checks while lighting everything else on fire by actively destroying it, they will put an end to what began with Andrew Jackson.

Ironic given I think the biggest winners of CLARITY as currently written are not going to be the big crypto players, it will be the big banks (and some hedge funds).
