Yesterday, we honored Bombardier Patrick Labrie’s memory with his family and friends by naming the 🇨🇦-led NATO Multinational Brigade Latvia compound at Ceri Military Base "Camp Labrie". He gave his life in service in 2019. Today, his legacy endures in Canada’s mission with our Latvian allies. 🇨🇦🇱🇻
On July 4, we remember the burning of Riga’s Choral Synagogue in 1941 and all Holocaust victims in Latvia. Ambassador Brian Szwarc laid flowers at the memorial, renewing our commitment to fight hatred and injustice worldwide ✊🌍. #NeverAgain #WeRemember
