24 years in Emergency Medicine and I think I am done! Struggling to see a solution, stay positive or provide the quality care our patients deserve. Hard work, digging in and goodwill won't cut it. Chronic underfunding, screwed targets and government stupity have destroyed the job

Just wanted to say WOW! I didn't realise something I feel so passionate about could spark such a debate and influx of valuable opinions! Investment in medical students, nurses and HCP training (or even remove student fees) we could improve the long term future as a start.
