Yesterday marked the start of a major shake-up in how cancer care is delivered in Northern Ireland, as the Health Minister Mike Nesbitt MLA has officially opened Cancer Focus NI’s new Regional Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Enniskillen. cancerfocusni.org/health-ministe… Department of Health

The Health Minister paid tribute to "the incredible staff and volunteers whose compassion, kindness and expertise will be the beating heart of this centre." Minister Nesbitt said the centre would be a "beacon of hope, care and connection for people affected by cancer."

Yesterday I was pleased to attend the official opening of the Cancer Focus Northern Ireland new Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Enniskillen. This is the first of five Support Centres which are due to open in Northern Ireland. This will be a valuable resource in our District.
