Wonderful night at the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Council Awards. Loved seeing former student Arleen Martir be awarded the Good Neighbor plaque. I love giving back and love to see that service in others.

Recap of our week last week. Monday pre testing we read outdoors, Tuesday after testing we made slime & I could not believe how many kids had never done it before. Oh & my WIN Wellness Leaders started working with the Special Olympic Athletes which was a highlight of the week.

#GirlScouts at school today. We were working on our tshirts-2 more meetings to go b4 the end of the year. Looking forward to our Day At Camp to! 🏕️ I was even more excited to have Tessa, Devin & Gayle come to our meeting. Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore has the absolute best women working there!!

Starting our food webs and kids absolutely love using the chalk markers to write on the tables. Participation across the board. #scienceisfun #scienceandartequalsmagic

What a day! First up was #SpecialOlympics where we helped with the parade of athletes & our athlete Michelle in Team Joy sang the national anthem! Then Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Day at Camp! Ziplining, team building, archery, Gaga, s’mores and tons of fun. We even came up with camp names!

Nice night at Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Regional Awards ceremony. Grateful to receive the Soaring High Award for members who have made significant contributions to the Girl Scout program within their community. Got the highly sought after Juliette Gordon Low quarter too! #honored

Teacher of the Year luncheon. 185 schools in 56 districts represented. I feel so honored to be among them.

My last meeting with our Girl Scouts. We bridged to Ambassador across our auditorium stage, proudly wore our shirts, talked about next year, did a few dances and wished each other well. I’m really going to miss this group of girls. Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore

Even though my HR did not win field day we lost to the winners (Ms. LaValles HR) in the first round. Everyone had SUCH a good day. Today was so much fun! Chris Volpe

S’mores at #Sacajawea - our first official outdoor meeting was a success. Took 3 leaders to get the fire going but we s’mored and s’mored some more. We bridge our sprout and a daisy. Onwards and upwards. Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Happy Summer!!

Yesterday was cool craft central.Of course we used some DonorsChoose materials &made Kiditos water elf toys.The kids #LOVEDIT! I heard #thatsaura at least 5 times in the first minute.Besides that some foam crafts &spending some chill time together. I will really miss this group.

Had the best night at our end of year celebration-for me this was our best one yet, my favorite so far. Got to see some lovely people retiring, lovely people return from retirement to celebrate in a lovely setting. Didn’t take enough pictures but did make some great memories.

18,000+ steps yesterday between graduation 👩‍🎓 practice and my kids end of year beach bash. 6/7 eyeball 👁️ dissection successful & 3 students whose families I had/know (2 neighbors 1 former students daughter) - it was a good and tiring day. Wakeup & repeat lol. Happy Friday!

Another awesome dissection with the 6/7 grade- this time hearts. I love ❤️ catching the stink faces during dissection. Then off to great 🧑‍🎓 graduation practice. This was the final Friday of the school year. 3 more wakeups.

Amazing final Monday of the school year. I can’t even get over all of this. I’m going to treasure it forever for sure.
