For #EndangeredSpeciesDay (20 May) we thought we’d showcase one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most endangered invertebrates: the Canterbury Knobbled Weevil! This critter was thought to be extinct for nearly 100 years, but in 2004, a small population was discovered near Burkes Pass.
