The most interesting people in the world are those who see it completely differently to you. They’re the ones from whom you can learn the most.

Most teams go up to the Prem by dominating the ball, but #SAFC deliberately ceded the ball to play a quick transition game. That's how newly promoted teams have to play to survive I think, and the foundations are already there for it. Still be very tough, but cause for optimism.

I feel like some people perhaps need to be a touch more selective with their ā€˜BRING’s this summer šŸ˜‚ It’s a veritable BRINGfest šŸ˜… #SAFC

There’s no need to be upset with me Lennie, lad. I don’t know anything about how desperate Isak is to leave. A lot of people saying he is though.

We’ve reached the point where Fab Rom is openly telling millions around the world that #SAFC are an ā€˜ambitious project’.

By the way, if Fabrizio Romano is saying Sunderland is an ambitious project, it means the world’s top agents are telling him. Which means they’re also telling their players. #SAFC

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke on coming to speak to Jobe: "Sunderland had just been promoted, and when we arrived at the team hotel, there were a lot of fans standing in front of the entrance. I had the impression that they had slept very little and drunk a lot." šŸ˜‚ #SAFC

His path was set long before the play-off final. It was probably set before he even signed for us. Think the timings of the Dortmund and Frankfurt talks matter if there was any indication he wasn't giving his absolute all during the play-offs, but that was never the case. #SAFC

Saudis up to their old tricks of kidnapping people and suppressing freedoms? Never would’ve happened under Sir Bobby. A lot of people saying it.

It’s absolutely mad how much you have to pay for strikers in the Championship. Coburn is perfectly decent and can be a real handful, but getting BOTH Isidor and Mayenda for less than him shows how clever #SAFC were with recruitment. Patience is indeed genius.
