Our article on ‘ancient medical practices’ was published in the Italian magazine #Medioevo I am very excited about this outreach outcome from the MEDICAL project. Thanks to my great supervisor Emanuela Cristiani, PhD for her support! More to come! #herbal #MedTwitter Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

1/Check out our opinion out now in PNASNews on why #sedaDNA has the potential to revolutionize #archaeology, but for that we need to understand its (micro)stratigraphic context with #geoarchaeology. pnas.org/doi/epdf/10.10… Mareike C Stahlschmidt MATRIX - ERC StG ICArEHB HEAS Vienna

I am offering a 2-year #postdoc position to join me on my MASH Junior project (Moving Toward a Transformative Bioarchaeology of Cremation in the Czech Republic and beyond). Join me in advancing #isotope #mapping and provenance studies in Central Europe! euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/286900

Thanks bataille for hosting me these past two months at the SAiVE lab at Université d'Ottawa | University of Ottawa! I worked on modeling a high-resolution Sr isoscape for the eastern Italian Alps using the Random Forest Algorithm, Sr-O spatial assignment, and S isotopes for palaeomobility. #MOLAproject #MSCA

It was great to have Christophe Snoeck at Università di Trento and talk about MOLA!

Today my new paper was published in Plos One. High-resolution Neolithic life history reconstructions using Incremental dentine, bone collagen, and multi-enamel sampling! I'm really pleased with this one! journals.plos.org/plosone/articl… BB-LAB Archaeology, Environmental Changes & Geo-Chemistry

The final meeting of the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation-HFRI funded TEFRA Project project will be held at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece on May 24th and 25th. The project aimed to investigate the use of fire in the manipulation of the deceased in Greek prehistory and protohistory.
