📢We have published new research today into the financial and employment impacts of unpaid end of life caring, carried out by The University of Sheffield. This research provides the first population-level estimates on the numbers of unpaid carers caring for a loved one with a terminal illness.



Myself and Dr Elida Cena are hoping to organise a workshop on use of open-source equivalents to Nvivo software for qualitative analysis. Do I know anyone who might like to facilitate and would like a trip to Belfast? Recommendations also very welcome!

Only 30% of pall care is NHS funded. Given today's vote, Keir Starmer, will you least commit to dramatically increasing palliative care provision so that patients don't "choose" to end their lives because we don't give them the care that might make life worth living?
