A big thank you to The University of Edinburgh colleagues for continuing to offer Cara - the Council for At-Risk Academics Syria Programme (SP) Fellows places on their in-sessional academic writing courses. SP Fellows have found these courses to be extremely valuable in the drafting of their final research papers.

Looking forward to the The British Academy Academic Writing workshop this week (26-28 April)! Mentors and Syria Programme Participants will be brought together to work on writing up their research findings. A big thank you to the mentors supporting our academics!

Another Cara - the Council for At-Risk Academics Syria Prog research incubation visit underway, hosted by the The University of Edinburgh! We are delighted to announce that Dr Rashwani will be presenting on his Cara - the Council for At-Risk Academics Syria Prog. supported study ‘Sustainable Reconstruction in Syria: Utilizing Recycled Concrete Aggregate from War-Damaged Buildings’ at the 5th International Conference on Recycling and Reuse 2024.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Cara - the Council for At-Risk Academics Syria Prog. Fellow Dr Hüseyin Esved حسين أسود on his recent promotion to Associate Professor of Arabic Language and Rhetoric, following a decision by the Turkish Higher Education Council.
