journals.physiology.org/doi/abs/10.115… A spontaneously hypertensive rat congenic strain with a short genome replacement retains high BP phenotype but has lower kidney injury. The gene content of the 3 congenic loci suggest a role of immunoglobulin in the end organ injury (lack B cells and Igs).
