Lyceum project was incredible!! One personal takeaway is that Greece ex-Prime Minister (George Papandreou,) attended to my talk about "Ethical AI Alignment via virtue selected feedback" and later we discussed on upcoming AI policy! Thanks to The Institute for Ethics in AI John Tasioulas for inviting

We did manage at the #lyceumproject to realise to some extent the Platonic and Aristotelian idea of rulers engaging with philosophers. Many thanks especially to the 6 early career scholars who did a fantastic job with their presentations.

In Mainz this week for European Workshop on Algorithmic Fairness to present our paper "Policy advice and best practices on bias and fairness in AI", which is based on the NoBIAS ITN Project's ESRs' research. Happy to chat about fair and causal ML while watching the Euros 😁 📰: link.springer.com/article/10.100…

The #NeurIPS2024 Dataset & Benchmark track is fiercely competitive: I just saw that PC overrode my decision of a paper from acceptance to rejection... That being said, only 1 out of 9 papers get accepted with a score of 6.6. Good luck!

Curious fact abt the LLM era: it's strangely difficult to distinguish the methodological innovations of elite research labs from the efforts of random bloggers.
