#happy4thofjuly! Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our annual #4thofJuly Parade! I love our parade because the entries reflect the beautiful diversity of our Concord Community! If you watched the parade, what was your favorite parade entry?

It was fun to get together with Alex and Melinda to pick up trash within "Alex's Garden" located at the corner of Grant and Solano. Alex planted the garden almost a decade ago and it is a lovely oasis in the middle of a very busy intersection!

I was proud to stand with UFCW members from across Northern California, along with my colleague, Councilmember Benavente, as these Safeway workers fight for a living wage, a safe workplace, and dignity on the job.
