A super indoor game last night between Carmel & District Cricket Club Prestatyn Cricket Club u15s against Buckley under 15s. The combined Carmel & Prestatyn team managed to win against good opposition. Well done all

Another good session up at Pen-y-Gelli and the ground is looking in great condition ahead of the new season. 5 new players to be announced this week as we add depth and quality to our first XI and look to improve on a solid season last year. 🏏🖤💛

All set for the first game of the season! Our 5 new signings are all part of the first XI that travel to Menai Bridge CC The Second XI host Pwllheli with 3 of our junior girls players making their senior debut.

First XI start with a win away at Menai Bridge CC. Put in to bat we managed 172 off our 40 overs. A brilliant effort from our bowlers then to bowl Menai out for 80. Second XI picked up maximum points as Pwllheli unfortunately conceded.

First XI play their first home game as they welcome Clwb Criced Llanrwst whilst the Second XI travel to Dolgellau CC tomorrow.

Carmel 1’s make it 2/2 with another good performance against Llanrwst. Put in to bat again we put on 168 off our 40 overs and we bowled Llanrwst out for 98. Supun picked up another classy 50 and the wickets were shared with Lanka leading the way with 3 wickets

Results from the weekend!

First XI make it 3/3 with an impressive performance away at Ruthin. Batting first and scored 197 off our 40. Skipper Ben lead the way scoring 113 which included 20 boundaries The skipper then opened and took 4 wickets in his first 4 overs as Ruthin were restricted to 156.

First XI win 14-1. Llay batted first and scored 146 off 40 overs and Carmel chased it down in 26 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Supun 72* and the wickets were shared again. 4/4.

First XI lose 11-4 to Marchwiel. 90-0 and then a classic Carmel collapse meant we finished 132 all out. A good bowling effort but 132 wasn’t enough to defend and Marchwiel chased it down for the loss of 8 wickets. Great game against a great bunch Marchwiel & Wrexham CC

NISSANKA SIGNS - Carmel are delighted to announce quality all rounder Maneesha Nissanka has joined the club. Maneesha scored over 1500 runs in his last two full seasons in Division 2 and will be a valuable asset as we look to push back up to the top of the table Welcome Manee!
