In 2011, Jeremy Clarkson called for striking workers to be "shot in front of their families". He continued to present Top Gear for another four years. After criticising plans to criminalise asylum seekers, Gary Linekar has lasted three days.

Why you’re hardwired to trust confident voices. Even when they’re wrong sciencefocus.com/news/hardwired… Me, for BBC Science Focus Magazine Our reflexive tendency to trust confidence helps explain Johnson, Trump, Putin, Musk, and so much more that is otherwise baffling about the modern world

Absolutely loved #TheSixthCommandment by Sarah Phelps. One little detail still puzzling me. Despite all Ben's religiosity, in court he didn't swear, he affirmed. Can't decide if it was to show the religion was an act or if not swearing on a bible made it easier to lie.
